Rochelle Stellato has been hired by Citizens Bank’s Holyoke office as a senior mortgage loan officer.

Stellato has five years of experience in the mortgage business, according to a statement. She came to Citizens Bank from Bank of America Home Loans, where she was a senior loan officer.

She will serve both the Massachusetts and northern Connecticut markets, according to a statement, originating a wide range of mortgage programs, including both conventional and government loans. Stellato will specialize in jumbo mortgage loans for higher-end homes and in home financing for those who are self-employed.

"Citizens Bank is committed to the mortgage business and, specifically, to growing our home financing operation in the Massachusetts and Connecticut markets and throughout our retail banking geography," said Ellen Steinfeld, senior vice president in the bank’s home lending solutions division.
