Haverhill’s Pentucket Bank has promoted Glenn Strauss to senior vice president, which includes a new role as Massachusetts market manager.

Strauss, of Wakefield, has worked for Pentucket Bank since 1999, when he began as an assistant vice president/commercial lending officer.

He has more than 20 years of commercial banking experience, having spent time at the former Bay Bank, US Trust and Family Bank, before he became a member of the Pentucket Bank team. He also worked briefly at Malden Mills as a credit manager.

In his new role as the market manager, Strauss will assume responsibility for managing all sales and marketing efforts for the Massachusetts market.
