Ronald Stroup has joined Citizens Bank as a mortgage loan officer in the Plymouth office.

Stroup, of Plymouth, will originate a wide range of mortgage programs, including both conventional and government loans. He specializes in loans insured by the Veterans Administration and the Federal Housing Administration, as well as loans offered through the Massachusetts Housing Partnership and Massachusetts Affordable Housing Alliance.

Stroup has been in the mortgage business for 12 years. He came to Citizens Bank from American Home Bank, where he was a branch manager.
