Inside the former Carriage House Inn in SudburyThe former Carriage House Inn in Sudbury has undergone $1.5 million in renovations, including upgrades to the guest rooms, hotel lobby and exterior building.

The 32,600-square-foot hotel, located on Boston Post Road, is owned by OS Sudbury LLC, which purchased the property in September 2009.

Pro Con Inc. of Manchester, N.H., was the design builder for the renovation project.

The newly renovated hotel lobby includes a sitting area with custom finishes, guest lounge and breakfast bar, granite topped reception desk, snack store, redesigned public restrooms and a new elevator. The guest rooms include several king suites, king and double queen rooms; all with bathrooms with granite vanities, new finishes, carpet and furnishings. The interior corridors have new light fixtures, signage, carpeting and finishes.

"The former Carriage House Inn has undergone a complete transformation," said Leo Xarras, a partner in OS Sudbury LLC. "The interior of the hotel has been completely renovated and all the electrical, plumbing and mechanical systems have been upgraded. The redesigned hotel has 46 guest rooms and both the common areas and the guest rooms have been refurbished."

The hotel’s exterior siding was replaced and new windows were installed throughout the building. Pro Con Inc. began the hotel renovation project in January.
