Sweet Named Commercial Lending SVP At Salem Five Bank

Jeffrey R. Sweet has been named senior vice president of commercial lending at Salem Five Bank.

In his new role, Sweet will be responsible for the development and oversight of commercial relationships, according to a statement.

Sweet has more than 30 years of experience in the banking industry and comes to Salem Five from Sovereign Bank and its predecessor institutions where he worked for 25 years, according to a statement. He began his banking career at First National Bank of Boston as a loan officer.
