BayCoast Bank, formerly Citizens~Union Savings Bank, has promoted Wayne Swenson of Fall River to the position of vice president of the consumer loan department.

In this role, he will oversee the day to day operations of consumer lending, including reviewing appraisals on mortgages and equity loans.

Swenson has worked in the mortgage and consumer lending arena for more than 30 years. Most recently, he was assistant vice president and business development officer at Citizens~Union Savings Bank. A United States Army veteran, he studied at the University of Massachusetts. He is a member of the board of directors of Junior Achievement, a mentor with the Smiles Program and a member of Leadership South Coast.
