The Boston Planning and Development Agency approved a life science project near Charlestown’s Sullivan Square and picked development teams for a lab project in the South Boston marine park and housing on a city-owned parcel in Chinatown.
With an offer that topped two other developers’ by over $19 million, Related Beal is set to be awarded the rights for a 337,516-square-foot project in South Boston’s Raymond L. Flynn Marine Park including a new job training center for the Gloucester Marine Genomics Institute.
A nearly 2-acre site in the South Boston marine park is set to be offered for redevelopment as potential life science space in one of the industry’s most active frontiers.
