A Lawrence asbestos company and its president have been cited more than $300,000 for intentionally failing to pay the proper prevailing wage or overtime rate to its employees for work on public projects.
A Chicopee roofing company that failed to pay employees in accordance with state wage and hour laws for work performed on the Holyoke Soldiers’ Home and other projects has paid more than $32,000 in restitution and penalties, Attorney General Maura Healey announced Tuesday.
