Broker Sentenced for Role in Sweeping Mortgage Fraud Conspiracy

A Methuen real estate broker was sentenced yesterday in connection with a sweeping conspiracy to defraud banks and mortgage companies by engaging in sham short sales of residential properties in the Merrimack Valley.
