Eric Reidemeister won a 2009 Smart Car Passion through a HarborOne Credit Union promotion.
HarborOne launched a special promotion this fall to garner attention for its newest locations in Mansfield and Attleboro.
"We wanted a unique way to launch the HarborOne brand in these new communities and the Smart Car certainly gets attention for its size and shape, and it really is a smart alternative for the environment," said HarborOne President and CEO James W. Blake. "We liked the tie-in to smarter banking too. It was a nice fit."
Throughout the promotion, credit union employees drove the specially- wrapped Smart Car throughout Mansfield and Attleboro, randomly stopping at events and where crowds gathered to hand out Dunkin’ Donuts and Home Depot gift cards, reusable grocery bags and other free gifts.
Reidemeister, who works at Sensata, said he was "elated" after finding out he won the new car.
