Edward O. Tabor III has joined Peabody-based construction management and development company The Congress Cos. as chief financial officer.

For almost 20 years, Tabor held the position of controller and treasurer for Deck House Inc., an Acton-based designer and manufacturer of panelized house packages using post and beam construction.

In his new position at The Congress Cos., Tabor will manage all financial functions of the company as well as the administration, IT and human resources departments, while maintaining all administrative and financial records.
