The Construction InstituteThe Construction Institute (TCI), a Massachusetts partnership of building trades unions, union contractors, contractor associations and industry professionals, has elected new officers and executive committee members.

The following people were elected as new officers:

• President: Frank Callahan, president, Massachusetts Building Trades Council
• Vice President: Hugh Kelleher, executive director, Plumbing- Heating- Cooling Contractors of Greater Boston Inc.
• Treasurer: Stephen Affanato; executive vice president, New England Mechanical Contractors/ Mechanical Service Contractors of America
• Clerk: State Representative Marty Walsh, secretary-treasurer and general agent, Boston Building Trades Council

The following executive committee members were named:

• Mike Calder, business agent, IBEW Local 103
• Glenn Kingsbury, executive manager, National Electrical Contractors Association
• Jay Hurley, president, Ironworkers District Council of New England
• Tom Gunning, executive director, Building Trades Employer Association and affiliates
• Tom Gunning III, director of Industry and Government Affairs, Building Trades Employer Association
• Kevin Cotter, business manager/secretary/treasurer, Plumbers Local 12
• Anthony Pini, legislative and political director, Massachusetts Laborers District Council
