Bradford W. Takala has been named managing director of acquisitions of The Davis Cos. investment ventures.

In his new role, Takala will help to spearhead the growth of investment activities, including the sourcing, analyzing, and structuring new acquisitions.

"Having known and in fact competed with Brad for many years, I’ve developed a deep appreciation for his talents as an investor. He will be a perfect complement to the team we have assembled. His 20 years of experience and deal acumen will enable him to hit the ground running," said Jonathan Davis, CEO & founder of the Davis Cos.

Takala has more than 20 years of real estate and business experience, most recently serving as an acquisitions executive with Behringer Harvard. He was formerly a partner and head of U.S. acquisitions for Taurus Capital Markets and spent nearly a decade with Invesco Real Estate.
