A groundbreaking ceremony was scheduled to take place Wednesday for the luxury condo project known as Twenty Two Liberty at Fan Pier on Boston’s Waterfront.
The 14-story residential tower is part of a 21-acre project that spans nine city blocks and features LEED-certified mixed-used space, which, upon completion, will include eight buildings, comprised of offices, residences, retail and a hotel, as well as a public park and full service marina.
The project is billed as the first water-view luxury condominium project since 2009.
Among the dignitaries scheduled to attend at the groundbreaking: Boston Mayor Thomas M. Menino, State Sen. Linda Dorcena Forry, Boston City Councilor Bill Linehan and Fallon Co. CEO Joseph F. Fallon.
