Worcester’s The Hanover Insurance Group Inc. has completed its acquisition of the Campania Group, which specializes in insurance solutions for the healthcare industry.

In addition, A.M. Best Co. has upgraded the financial strength rating of Campmed Casualty & Indemnity Co., Campania’s underwriting subsidiary, to "A," (Excellent).

Vienna, Va.-based Campania Group provides professional and general liability solutions for a range of durable medical equipment suppliers and healthcare providers, including behavioral health specialists, eldercare providers and podiatrists.
