As part of its commitment to the communities it serves, The Provident Bank and its Provident Community Foundation have awarded $34,343 to several area nonprofit organizations for the second quarter.
The grant recipients are: Amesbury Chamber of Commerce & Industrial Foundation ($4,000 grant), town of Amesbury Summer Recreation Program ($4,500 grant), Jeanne Geiger Crisis Center ($5,000), Jumpstart Youth Connection Inc. ($4,000 grant), Newburyport Education Foundation ($5,000 grant), Pentucket Education Foundation ($5,000 grant), The Pettengill House ($5,343 grant), and Child and Family Services of New Hampshire ($1,500).
