Wingate Healthcare, a provider of healthcare and hospitality for seniors, yesterday opened The Residences at Wingate, an 82,000-square-foot, 91-unit community in Needham.
Wingate Healthcare’s 21st community is located at 235 Gould St. on a 10-acre campus. Scott Schuster, Wingate Healthcare’s founder and president, and his family developed and locally manage the community.
Amenities at The Residences at Wingate include transportation, housekeeping and an on-site physician office. The property also features modern architecture along with interactive Zen-like spaces, outdoor fireplaces and dining and the Versailles Spa and salon.
The community includes two secured memory care neighborhoods with private rooms, individualized chef prepared meals, and an enclosed garden for those with Alzheimer’s and dementia. Staff members trained to offer habilitation therapy and administer and manage residents’ medication.
