The Village Bank Offering ‘Real-World’ Finance Courses For Local Students

Village Bank Logo Auburndale-based The Village Bank has partnered with Newton North High School to offer a course in financial planning and banking for students.

The course is designed and will be taught by business education teacher Rob Kane and several employees of The Village Bank, according to a statement. Representatives of The Village Bank lead one of the four classes each week.

"We are pleased to partner with the school system on this project," said Kenneth C. Brennan, president and CEO of The Village Bank. "It adds the voice of ‘real world’ speakers from the fields of financial planning and banking and broadens the students’ educational experience.
