Five employees have been promoted at Auburndale-based The Village Bank.

Kenneth C. Brennan, president and CEO, recently announced the promotions of Diane L. LeBlanc, Eileen Colella, Susan Paley, Lilly Trainor and Fernando C. Soares.

LeBlanc was promoted to vice president, responsible for the human resources function. She joined The Village Bank as human resources manager in 2004, with prior experience at Community National Bank.

Colella, servicing manager in the bank’s loan department, was promoted to assistant vice president. A former legal secretary, she joined the bank in 1996. She was the recipient of the bank’s highest honor, the President’s Award, in 2006. 

Paley, who has been the bank’s community relations officer since 2007, was promoted to assistant vice president.

Trainor, who joined The Village Bank in 2009 as manager of its Newtonville branch, was promoted to assistant treasurer. She previously served as community banking officer at Benjamin Franklin Bank’s Newtonville office.

Soares, manager of the bank’s Newton Highlands branch, was promoted to assistant treasurer. He joined The Village Bank in 2006, and was previously a loan officer with Eastern Financial Florida Credit Union.
