Radius Bank has promoted Chris Tremont to executive vice president of virtual banking. He will be based at the bank’s headquarters in Boston.
In this expanded role, Tremont will oversee the Radius Bank’s virtual sales and marketing efforts. Formerly senior vice president and director of marketing, Tremont will continue to manage the bank’s marketing and customer care teams.
Since joining Radius Bank in 2008, Tremont has led several product development and marketing initiatives, including its newest consumer checking account, Radius Hybrid, as well as full-featured mobile banking for consumers and businesses, personal online and mobile account opening and a website and user experience redesign. He recently spearheaded the bank’s rebrand from First Trade Union Bank to Radius Bank
“Under Chris’s leadership, Radius Bank has built a strong sales, marketing and customer service program that has driven the expansion of our consumer business line,” President and CEO Michael A. Butler said in a statement. “The seamless integration of the virtual bank teams will position Radius Bank well for future growth and allow us to better serve the ever-changing needs of our virtual clients.”
