Thomas A. Grimes of East Walpole and Robert P. Bennett of Boston have joined the board of directors of Walpole Co-operative Bank.
Grimes has been an investment advisor and certified financial planner with Grimes & Co. Inc. in Westborough since 1990. He ranked among Reuters Top Advisers in 2008 and is listed in Bloomberg’s Top Wealth Managers, according to a statement.
He holds an MBA degree from Babson College and an undergraduate degree in management and finance from the University of Massachusetts/Amherst.
Bennett is the founder and CEO of Invoice Cloud Inc. in Westwood. He has served as president of a number of companies, including Sage Payment Solutions, Verus Financial Management, and Network 1 Financial, and MIC Inc. He was also the founder and CEO of MicroFridge Inc., and held sales and management positions with Star Technologies, CSP, Inc., Western Electric, and Factory Mutual Engineering.
He earned a master’s in engineering management at Northeastern University and a bachelor’s degree in applied mathematics from the University of Maine. He also graduated from the Owner President Management Program at Harvard Business School.
