Arthur G. Koumantzelis and Gerard M. Martin have been re-elected to the board of Newton-based senior living and health care services company Five Star Quality Care.

Koumantzelis was re-elected as an independent director receiving 22.8 million votes, or 71 percent of all shares outstanding. Martin was re-elected as a managing director receiving 27.4 million votes, or 85 percent of all shares outstanding.

Both were elected for three-year terms until the 2012 annual meeting.
