Police in Tyngsborough are looking for a man they say robbed an Enterprise Bank branch on Middlesex Road Monday afternoon.

According to police, the man robbed the bank at 1:38 p.m. Monday and is believed to have fled in a white or silver sport utility vehicle.

Police have described the suspect as either a tan white or Hispanic man, between 6′ and 6’2" and approximately 250 lbs. He was wearing a blue hooded sweatshirt and dark gray "construction type" work pants, and he wore white gloves, a knit hat and a black mask over the lower half of his face during the robbery.

The Billerica Police K-9 unit is also involved in the search.

Police consider the suspect to be armed and dangerous and have warned the public not to approach him if sighted. The Tyngsborough Police ask anyone who sees the suspected bank robbery or who may have information of his whereabouts to call the department at 978-649-7504, or dial 911.
