United Bank Adds To Lending Team

Nicholas P. Helides, of Salem, has been appointed the lead lender of West Springfield-based United Bank’s new loan production office in Beverly.

In this newly created position, Helides will introduce the United Bank brand and commercial real estate lending services to an expanded marketplace, complementing the bank’s lending activity in the Greater Worcester and Springfield regions, according to a statement. Helides has more than 30 years of commercial real estate lending experience and previously served as vice president of commercial real estate lending with Danversbank.
