Jeannette C. Travaline has been named vice president of retail sales at Rockland-based South Coastal Bank.

In this role, Travaline will focus on business development and sales for the growing bank, and will work directly with branch managers, according to the bank.

Travaline comes to South Coastal Bank with significant industry experience, the bank said. For the past eight years, she was vice president of business development for Randolph Savings Bank. Travaline has also held positions at Boston Federal Savings, Bank of Braintree and the Cooperative Bank of Concord as well.
