Real estate development and investment firm John D. Murphy Co. recently broke ground on its 117,200-square-foot building to be added to the Walpole Park South complex.
The 54-acre Walpole Park South already contains seven existing buildings totaling 466,000 square feet. Current tenants include the New England Patriots and Specialty Flooring Systems, according to a statement.
"We’re very excited to begin construction on the South Shore’s only speculative warehouse building in Massachusetts in 2011," said Donnelly Murphy, president of Walpole-based John D. Murphy Co. "We have assembled a great team for this project and look forward to its completion and lease up."
