Webster Five Cents Savings Bank has hired Russell Dye as vice president and team leader in commercial lending.

Dye will be responsible for generating new business and managing customer relationships. He has more than 30 years of experience in the banking industry. Prior to joining Webster Five, Dye worked in commercial lending services at United Bank. He has also worked for Mechanics Bank, First Massachusetts Bank, Bank North and Commonwealth National.

Dye has worked with the United Way and the Worcester Historical Museum as board treasurer. He is currently the chief volunteer officer for the YMCA of Central Massachusetts.
