The Webster Five Foundation, a charitable organization founded by Webster Five Cents Savings Bank, has donated $3,500 to Auburn Youth and Family Services Inc.
Auburn Youth and Family Services provides a variety of services for high-risk and disadvantaged groups, which include mostly young people. Their services, which focus on academic and family matters, are provided free of charge for those who cannot afford to pay.
"We are proud to support Auburn Youth and Family Services," said Richard T. Leahy, president and CEO of Webster Five Cents Savings Bank. "Having year-round programs is essential to the Auburn community, and we are happy to be a part of such a great cause."
"The donation from The Webster Five Foundation is greatly appreciated," said Sally D’Arcangelo, executive director of Auburn Youth and Family Services Inc. "Through continued support, Auburn Youth and Family Services will be able to serve an increased number of children throughout the Auburn community."
