Wellesley Medical Office Conversion Gets First Lease Commitment

A Wellesley office building being converted into medical space has landed its first new lease commitment from Fresenius Kidney Care.

The agency will use the 8,017-square-foot space at 981 Worcester St. for outpatient kidney care, dialysis and offices.

Cambridge-based CEA Group is converting the 28,120-square-foot building from class A office to medical uses. The building has 20,000 square feet available to tenants needing as little as 5,000 square feet, with smaller spaces being delivered in late 2020 and larger spaces available in spring 2021.

NKF Senior Managing Directors Dan Krysiak and Michael Greeley represented the building owner, CEA Group, in the lease negotiations. Jeff Bruk of Bruk Realty Advisors represented Fresenius.
