Wendy’s Leases Property In Franklin

Wendy’s Old Fashioned Hamburgers of New York Inc. has signed a long-term ground lease for a commercial property on Route 140 in Franklin.

The project is located on a 4-acre site being developed by J&J W. Central Trust of Franklin. The property, which was originally the site of the Knights of Columbus, has been subdivided into three commercial plots. Wendy’s is leasing the first parcel for a 2,500-square-foot fast food restaurant.

Rob Nahigian, of Auburndale Realty Co. in Newtown, is serving as the project’s real estate counselor and advised on the negotiations of the ground lease.
