Westfield Bank has approved more than $250,000 in new grants from its future fund to be disbursed over the next few months.

“We are pleased to be able to show our appreciation to the communities and customers that support our Bank all year long as we make these distributions” said President & CEO James C Hagan.

According to Hagan “the Future Fund is the charitable donation vehicle we use to make these dollars available to the community. Applications and information can be found on the bank’s web site during the first quarter of the year.”

Agencies receiving grants include the American Lung Association, Boys & Girls Club of Westfield, Cancer House of Hope, Community Music School, Drama Studio, Friends of the Soldiers Home in Holyoke, Southwick Historical Society, ReStore Home Improvement Center, Stanley Park, The Association for Community Living, the Dan Kane Singers, Western Mass. Enterprise Fund, Willie Ross School for the Deaf, Whispering Horse Therapeutic Riding Center, World is our Classroom and the YMCA of Greater Springfield. Schools receiving funds include St. Mary’s, American International College and the YMCA program at Springfield College.
