Daniel F. Wheeler has been appointed senior associate, asset management at Boston-based The Davis Cos.

In this role, Wheeler will perform leasing, investment analysis and various asset management functions, according to a statement.

"Dan’s background and diverse experience will allow him to be an immediate impact player for our team in all areas of asset management," said Jonathan Davis, CEO and founder of The Davis Cos. "He has had success in leasing, valuation, development, acquisitions and investment analysis. Dan is familiar with the markets we are working in and brings the expertise, strong network and versatility needed to hit the ground running on our existing portfolio and to be a valuable contributor to our future growth."

Before joining The Davis Cos., Wheeler served as asset manager at Colony Realty Partners. He also worked for Cushman & Wakefield and Insignia ESG.
