Winchester Savings Bank has officially opened the new branch at 188 Medford St. in Arlington.

In honor of their late chairman, the branch was named the James F. Dwinell Jr. Branch. Dwinell, who passed away in 2007, had served the bank in many capacities: as president from 1951-1975, as chairman from 1975-2004, and as chairman emeritus from 2004-2007.

"We are excited to become a part of the vibrant Arlington community and we look forward to meeting and working with its citizens and business leaders," said the bank’s President and CEO Peter J. Segerstrom. "We invite you to stop by and check us out. Led by Tatyana Cordoba, assistant treasurer and branch manager, the branch is staffed with knowledgeable and experienced bankers who are eager to meet with you to discuss how they can assist in meeting your financial goals."
