Beverly-based Windover Construction was recognized by Massachusetts Chapter of Associated Builders and Contractors (ABC) with an Excellence in Construction Award.

Windover Construction was selected for The Gerrish School of Business and The Judge Science Center, a 67,000-square-foot facility on the Endicott College campus. The space, which features learning and meeting spaces as well as advanced computer labs, was designed to advance learning in both business and life sciences. It was completed ahead of schedule and on budget.

The Excellence in Construction program recognizes projects that highlight "the best of the best," according to a press release. Entrants are considered based on quality, complexity and effective utilization of resources; project safety; and the recommendations of third-parties involved in the project. The panel of judges includes a cross section of construction industry experts, including owners, architects, engineers and other industry leaders.
