The Windsor School, an independent all-girls educational facility in Boston, has filed plans with the Boston Redevelopment Authority (BRA) to significantly expand its campus.
The proposed project includes building several new facilities on 7.4 acres of land, according to the filing.
The new buildings include a 110,000-square foot academic building to be constructed on the site of its current surface parking lot and gymnasium at the corner of Pilgrim Road and Short Street Extention. A below-deck parking lot accommodating 148 vehicles has also been proposed.
A 30,000-square-foot wing would also be added to an already existing school complex. The school would also like to build a 10-story, 300,000-square-foot mixed use building at the corner of Brookline and Longwood Avenues with 346 below-grade parking spots.
