Cynthia Tanner has been hired as chief financial officer for WinnResidential, the property management arm of Boston-based WinnCompanies.

Tanner will be responsible for the management and control of accounting, technology, purchasing, asset and risk management functions, business systems and finance related functions.

Tanner joined WinnResidential after working for four years as the chief accounting officer for Bozzuto Management Co., a mixed-use and multifamily property management company that operates throughout the Mid-Atlantic and Northeast. Prior to Bozzuto, Tanner held management positions for more than 10 years at private equity firms, including MG Properties, Centara Capital Group Inc. and Senior Resource Group LLC.
