WiTricity Corp., a wireless electricity technology company, has doubled its headquarters in Watertown, leasing 20,000 square feet at 149 Grove St.
The company, which will lease the entire two-story building, is moving from an 8,000-square-foot space at 80 Coolidge Hill Road, also in Watertown.
"After a comprehensive search, we determined that 149 Grove St. was an excellent fit for the company, as it meets WiTricity’s geographical objectives and is able to support the company’s R&D work," said Eric Smith, senior vice president, Richards Barry Joyce & Partners.
Smith and Ron Friedman, senior vice president, of Richards Barry Joyce & Partners represented WiTricity Corp. in the lease. The building’s landlord, Bubblegum Realty Trust, was represented by Colliers Meredith & Grew.
