Wise Construction Corp., a construction management firm specializing in the healthcare, biotechnology, education and corporate clients, says it has completed construction projects for MGH Institute of Health Professions in Charlestown Navy Yard in Boston.

An affiliate of the Massachusetts General Hospital and a member of the Partners HealthCare System, the MGH Institute is an interdisciplinary graduate school that prepares skilled health care specialists in: Clinical investigation, Medical Imaging, Nursing, Physical Therapy and Speech-Language Pathology.

Wise Construction provided interior fit-up, renovation and expansion into multiple buildings that involved the relocation of the MGH Institute’s administrative spaces to provide for additional classrooms and library space at the campus, which now incorporates three buildings.

The construction work covered about 30,000 square feet of space in three buildings and was completed in eight weeks in two phases.

“The new space will significantly improve the learning and work environments at the school’s Charlestown Navy Yard campus,” said John Wise, president of Wise Construction.
