The Hair Cuttery has renewed its 2,300-square-foot lease at Medford’s Foodmaster Plaza, located at the corner of Route 60 and Route 28.

The early renewal was prompted by Hair Cuttery’s investment in upgrading its facility, according to a statement. Richard McKinnon, director of brokerage services at Quincy-based The Grossman Cos. Inc. represented the landlord, 469-471 Salem Street Trust, in negotiations.

Additionally, McKinnon said up to 20,000 square feet will soon be available for lease at the 81,000-square-foot plaza.
