Tocci Building Cos. has added new project management, administration and business development personnel.
The Woburn-based construction services firm does work throughout the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic and specializes in virtual design and construction (VDC) and integrated project delivery (IPD) techniques, as well as lean construction practices.
Jennifer Heikkinen was hired as senior project manager. Heikkinen has more than 12 years of commercial construction experience New England, working on pharmaceutical and research laboratories, office fit-outs, academic spaces and museums.
Moises Berrun, a VDC modeler, is an architectural designer joining Tocci from MJCL Architects in Brooklyn, N.Y. While with MJCL Architects, Berrun participated on projects for Queens Hospital Center, Elmhurst Hospital Center and Harlem Hospital Center.
Julie Brown, director of client services, has more than a decade of industry marketing and business development experience. She has worked for firms including Sasaki Assoc., Perry Dean Rogers, SEA Consultants and Macomber. At Tocci, she will be responsible for aligning the company’s range of services, from integrated project delivery to co-location, with its clients’ needs.
Bud LaRosa, Tocci’s new chief business performance officer, will contribute to strategy and planning, joint venture relationships, staff recruiting and business development activities. Previously, he was chief financial officer for Superior Commercial Roofing Co. and Young Contracting Co.
