Wolf & Co. P.C., a Boston-based accounting firm, has promoted three employees.
Stephen R. King will serve as director of regulatory compliance services; Matthew J. Putvinski has been named director of IT assurance services; and Michael C. Stravin has been appointed commercial tax engagement officer.
In his new role, King will guide clients through the myriad of federal and state banking statutes. He will also consult with clients on enterprise-wide risk management, compliance risk assessment and monitoring programs, compliance examination preparation and response and new product design.
Putvinski will provide guidance to clients around IT controls, information security, the development and implementation of critical technology processes and strategic technology planning.
Stravin will be responsible for directing tax services on behalf of Wolf and Co.’s investment advisor and private investment fund practice. He also renders income tax as well as estate and gift tax planning and compliance services to individuals and fiduciaries, according to a statement.
