Fredrick N. Zeytoonjian and Barry M. Portnoy were re-elected as independent trustee and managing trustee, respectively, at Newton-based CommonWealth (CWH) REIT’s annual meeting.

During the meeting, shareholders approved a nonbinding, advisory proposal approving the compensation paid to CWH’s named executive offices, according to a statement. Shareholders also approved the ratification of the appointment of Ernst & Young LLP as CWH’s independent registered public accounting firm.
