Lincoln Property Co. is moving forward with multifamily development plans for a long-vacant parcel near the Boston-Dedham line.

The developer said it’s planning to build 258 1- and 2-bedroom apartments in a pair of four-story wood-frame buildings at 1507 VFW Parkway in West Roxbury, adjacent to the Boston Trailer Park property.

Amenities will include a clubhouse, outdoor pool, bike storage and electric vehicle charging stations, Lincoln Property Co. Executive Vice President John Noone said in a notification letter to the Boston Planning and Development Agency.

To comply with the city’s inclusionary development policy, the complex would include 34 income-restricted units.

Lincoln Property said the proposal for the 4.6-acre site is below the density allowed under the Boston zoning code, with a floor area ratio of 1.75 and lot coverage of 58 percent, so it would not require any zoning variances. The multifamily use will require a conditional use permit.
