A proposed development by Lincoln Property Co. calls for 270 apartments in nine low-rise buildings at a 14-acre parcel in Hyde Park.
The plans include a mix of one- and two-bedroom units in 2- and 3-story wood-framed buildings, along with a clubhouse and 455 parking spaces, attorney Daniel Gaquin of law firm Mintz said in a notification letter to the Boston Planning and Development Agency.
Developers said the proposal at 990 American Legion Highway will not require any variances, and the use and density conforms with the neighborhood’s zoning bylaws, with a floor area ratio of 0.56 compared with the maximum 1.0. Developers propose 455 parking spaces, along with bicycle storage and EV charging stations.
Common-area amenities will include an outdoor pool, playgrounds and a dog park. The project would include 35 on-site income-restricted units, in compliance with the city’s inclusionary development policy.
The wooded parcel at 990 American Legion Highway is owned by Jubilee Christian Church International and borders a Stop & Shop-anchored retail center.
