A food service equipment and supply company has purchased a property in Agawam to facilitate its expansion.

Kittredge Equipment Inc., with offices in Agawam, Williston, Vermont and Bow, New Hampshire, acquired 275 Silver St. in Agawam from SFM Realty Partnership for $835,000.

The company will occupy 20,000 square feet of the 35,500-square-foot industrial facility.

Bay State Elevator currently occupies 15,500 square feet at the property as well.
