Mobile Messenger has renewed its 20,000-square-foot Watertown lease at 311 Arsenal St.
The company, which facilitates the marketing, distribution and monetization of digital content to mobile devices, is headquartered in Los Angeles, but has a "technology hub" in Greater Boston, according to a statement.
The transaction represents one of the largest Class A office transactions executed in 2010 in the Cambridge and central Route 128 office markets, according to FHO Partners, who represented the company.
Partner John Boyle and Associate Ryan Romano of FHO Partners represented Mobile Messenger in the lease transaction, and Bob Doherty, vice president leasing & brokerage of The Beal Cos. LLP represented the landlord of 311 Arsenal St., President & Fellows of Harvard College.
"In this competitive environment, landlords are doing all they can to acquire new tenants and retain existing relationships. Harvard and Beal did a great job in aggressively meeting Mobile Messenger’s needs to keep this high quality tenant on board," said John Boyle, partner of FHO’s corporate advisory services. "311 Arsenal St. is a very attractive project just minutes from downtown Boston. We were pleased to have helped Mobile Messenger retain this high quality space as their Boston office location."
