Advent Software Inc., a financial services software company, has leased 24,597 square feet at 40 Broad St. in Boston’s Financial District.

Advent is relocating from 70 Franklin St. in Boston. The building at 40 Broad is now 85 percent leased, according to a statement.

"The signing is another page in our success story here at 40 Broad St.," said Joseph Concepcion, managing director of Transwestern. "We are thrilled to welcome Advent to their new Boston office space and add them to our impressive tenant roster."

The building gives us a very central location that will support our continued growth plans in Boston," said John Brennan, senior vice president of human resources at Advent Software. "Its location, design and amenities will help us attract and retain talented staff to help drive our future success."
