Life science developer Alexandria Real Estate Partners’ latest local acquisition is a suburban office property being vacated by Philips Healthcare in Andover.

Alexandria paid $32 million to buy  3000 Minuteman Road from Atlantic Management Corp. of Framingham.

Philips Healthcare sold the 3000 Minuteman Road property to Atlantic Management in April 2019 after announcing plans to relocate employees to other locations including its new North American headquarters at Cambridge Crossing. Philips signed a short-term leaseback of the campus at the time.

The 109-acre property contains an 88,056-square-foot office building originally completed in 1982, according to Andover assessors’ records and Essex County Registry of Deeds filings.
