Boston-based Margulies Perruzzi Architects (MPA) has hired Maureen Amaral as its director of human resources.

Amaral will assist MPA with employee relations, professional development and performance management and will help track the company’s growth. She most recently worked as a human resources business partner with State Street Corp.

"We’re thrilled to have a human resources director of Maureen’s caliber at MPA," Marc Margulies, founder and principal of the firm, said in a statement.
