Bill Balzarini, a full-time real estate salesperson, has joined J Barrett & Co. in its Gloucester office.

A successful real estate agent since 2008, Balzarini’s business background also focuses heavily on customer service. The lifelong Rockport resident is the former owner and operator of a well-known and well-respected B&B.

"Like my past life, real estate is a 24-7 career," he said. "Helping people when they are in the midst of buying or selling a home can’t be scheduled. When questions and issues arise — and that happens constantly — decisions must be made immediately and it’s my job to be available."

Balzarini is active in several community organizations including the Sandy Bay Historical Society. He is also a past president of Rotary, and is a director at the Rockport Art Association.
